A portfolio site sells your judgement before it sells your skills. Clients don't scroll through everything you've made — they look at the six pieces you chose, how you present them, and whether you look easy to hire. Curation, fast loading and a clear next step matter more than volume.

These templates lead with a selected-work grid, follow with services and starting prices so enquiries are pre-qualified, add a few client quotes, and finish with a project-brief form. Photographers get a full-bleed hero and package pricing; designers get a split hero and numbered services. Swap images, describe your practice, and you're live.

What a Portfolio website needs

  • A curated grid of your best work — six to twelve pieces, not sixty
  • Services with starting prices so the wrong clients filter themselves out
  • Client quotes with names and companies
  • A project-brief form that asks for budget and timing up front

Questions about Portfolio websites

How many projects should a portfolio show?

Six to twelve. Show your strongest and most recent work in the order you want to be hired for. You can keep an archive page for the rest if you must.

Should I list prices on a portfolio site?

Starting prices ("from $800") save you and your clients time. The templates include a services block with starting prices; ask the assistant to hide it if your work is always quoted.
